She’s described in the text with a white face, so I increased the amount of white fur on her face, while also throwing in a bit of gray on her face since I can never resist that. I also changed her forehead stripes since I didn’t like how the old ones looked now that’s they were darker. She’s still s regular tabby, but I changed the placement of her stripes to look better with her pattern. Her pattern is almost completely different from her old one. I always imagined that she got scarred up pretty badly after training in the DF for so long, not to mention the Dark Battle. I kept all of her scars from her previous design, though a few have been tweaked, and the face scars have been made smaller since they were distracting from her design. I dunno why, but I like to think that other than her muscle, she’s inherited a fair bit of her build from Ferncloud, that’s sorta long-legged slender look. She’s got her mother’s kinda narrow face and average muzzle, average eyes from her father, and largish ears passed down from Ferncloud, I think. It’s not quite as long as her mother’s, and it’s not as soft and sleek as her sister’s pelt, it’s more scruffy and tufty than hers. I imagine that her apparently thinner build and her thick fur hide somebody of her muscle, so cats can’t tell at first glance just how strong she is, but she’s stronger and faster than a good deal of her larger Clanmates.Īs before, she’s got a thick pelt.
So she’s still long-legged and a bit gangly here, but she has some hard muscle under her fur, and broad shoulders and hips. I like to imagine that she bulked up a fair bit after so many moons of training in the Dark Forest. The wiki describes her as slender - however, that description comes from when she’s was an apprentice. Again, she’s not huge, but she’s taller than her mother and sister, closer to her father’s height, though not as compact and muscular as him. I definitely tried to get that across here. I haven’t always gotten it across very well in my old designs for her, but I’ve always seen Ivypool a short sort of long-legged and on the taller side, for a she-cat anyway, she’s not huge or anything. I’m still not totally sure about this design, but I’m mostly satisfied with it. ^^ Just like with all of my recent sheets, I changed her design more than I originally intended.
